- Difficulty level: Medium. Can talk about a book related to your work. It will be easy to speak on since it is related to what you work (in case of GT) or study (in case of Academic)
- 3. Discuss about a book which, if given a chance you would like to write.
- Difficulty level: Medium. Try to talk about a book related to your work (GT) or favourite subject/ hobby (Academic)
- 4. Discuss about an adventurous trip on which you went with your family or friends.
- Difficulty level: Medium. It is easy to discuss about a trip but not everyone might have gone on an adventurous trip. In case you have never been adventurous, you may discuss about a troublesome trip on which your went.
- 5. Discuss about a comical character you like.
- Difficulty level: Easy.
- 6. Discuss about an interesting article that you read in a newspaper.
- Difficulty level: Medium. You may talk about anything and everything ranging from depleting male female ratio to global warming. Primarily ,, the topic should be of general interest.
- 7. Discuss about a celebrity you would like to meet.
- Difficulty level: Easy.
- 8. Discuss about an educational tour you have been to.
- Difficulty level: Medium. You may discuss about any historical building, museum, famous city and relate it with how it increased your knowledge.
- 9. Discuss about a visit to a museum or an art gallery you have been to.
- Difficulty level: High. Read about museum/ art gallery so you are prepared for such a question.
- 10. Discuss about a family friend during your childhood days.
- Difficulty level: Easy.
- 11. Discuss about your most liked law in your country.
- Difficulty level: Medium. You may discuss about any law related to domestic violence, anti smoking, environment protection, etc.
- 12. Discuss about a historical place that you have been to.
- Difficulty level: Easy.
- 13. Discuss about your favourite photograph.
- Difficulty level: Medium. Talk about some photograph in which you were also there. This is because sometimes they ask question asking that you should be a part of such photograph.
- 14. Discuss about the changes that you have experienced in your life.
- Difficulty level: Medium. You may discuss about you school days, college days, then joining work and so on.
- 15. Discuss about a tool or an impliment that you have used recently.
- Difficulty level: Easy. Be smart for such questions. Mobile phones and laptops are also tools 🙂
- 16. Discuss about an event from the history of your country.
- Difficulty level: High. Prepare in advance for this answer. Try to refrain from India’s struggle for Independence from British Rule.
- 17. Discuss about an incident that brought a big change in your life.
- Difficulty level: Easy. School admission, college admission, first job, etc.
- 18. Discuss about a plan that you failed in implementing.
- Difficulty level: Medium. It can be any plan, as simple as planned to study very hard for IELTS but could not due to extremely high work load in office.
- 19. Discuss about your biggest success till date.
- Difficulty level: Easy.
- 20. Discuss about an inspiring speech that someone delivered.
- Difficulty level: High. Prepare before hand.
